While most lawns see great results from our Fertilization and Weed Control Programs alone, aeration, overseeding, and slice seeding are available as add-ons that loosen soil, improve seed-to-soil contact, and thicken thin spots. Aeration + overseeding are already included in our Extreme Green Program; if you’re on Greening or Greening Plus, you can add them as an upgrade!

Step 1 - Aeration
Our first step is aeration, which loosens compacted soil and reduces thatch buildup by pulling small plugs from the lawn. This creates open channels for air, water, and nutrients to reach the root zone—perfectly preparing the lawn for seeding.
Step 2 - Overseeding
Once the ground has been aerated and the soil loosened, we apply a broadcast layer of premium seed across the entire lawn. This ensures even coverage and helps the turf thicken uniformly.
Step 3 - Slice Seeding
Next, we use our slice seeder to cut precise grooves into the lawn and place seed directly into the soil. This targeted method delivers reliable growth in bare or problem areas where surface seeding alone might not take.

Slice Seeding
Slice seeding repairs bare, damaged, and weed-filled areas by placing seed directly into shallow grooves for maximum soil contact during fall, when conditions support deep rooting.
